These terms apply to your use of the Skylight Solar website and to any quote, order or installation arranged with us. By using this website or requesting a quote, you agree to them.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this website are for fully-installed systems and include professional installation and your certificate of compliance (CoC), unless stated otherwise. Because the final price can depend on your property’s roof or ground layout, existing electrical supply, and site access, every online price is confirmed as a firm quote after we’ve discussed your requirements or carried out a site assessment.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or specification errors on the website. If a mistake affects a quote you’ve already accepted, we’ll contact you before proceeding.

How orders work

Enquiries made through this website, WhatsApp, phone or email are not automatically confirmed orders. An order is only confirmed once we’ve agreed the final specification and price with you and you’ve accepted our quote. We do not currently process payment through the website; payment arrangements are agreed directly with our team.

Installation and compliance

All installations are carried out by qualified installers and, where applicable, signed off with a certificate of compliance. You’re responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to your property for the installation team.

Warranty

Systems we install carry a 10-year warranty, as stated on the relevant product page at the time of your order. This is in addition to, and does not replace, any manufacturer’s warranty on individual components (inverter, panels, battery). Warranty claims should be raised directly with us using the contact details below.

Website content

We try to keep product specifications, pricing and availability accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee the website is always error-free. All content on this site — text, images and branding — belongs to Skylight Solar unless otherwise credited, and may not be reused without our permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Skylight Solar is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
